As Financial Controller with Di Jones Real Estate since August 2009, Catherine has brought with her considerable passion and 10 years experience in all aspects of the real estate industry in both Western Australia and New South Wales.
After gaining a Bachelor of Business degree from Edith Cowan University in Perth Western Australia, Catherine worked in Marketing and Public Relations for a consulting engineering firm before travelling overseas on a working holiday. On her return to live in Sydney she was employed by Stamford Hotels & Resorts in their corporate office as a Sales & Marketing Coordinator/Advertising & Promotion Executive assisting the General Manager, Sales & Marketing and the Marketing Communications Manager.
In June 2001 Catherine decided on a career change and obtained her Certificate of Registration in Real Estate. Catherine was employed as the Sales/Office Manager for a successful real estate agency in Mortdale, close to home. After obtaining her Real Estate Agent license in 2003, Catherine was promoted to the position of General Manager/Licensee-in-charge of the same business.
In May 2004, Catherine took up the challenge with her husband Bryn, of opening their own real estate office in Victoria Park, Western Australia. This business was successfully sold at the end of 2006 when Catherine and her family returned to New South Wales to take up another business opportunity. Catherine returned to the agency in Mortdale in December 2006 to fulfil the role of General Manager/Licensee-in-charge. In 2007 Catherine also obtained a NSW Business Agents License and in 2009 obtained a Certificate IV in Financial Services.
Catherine and her husband Bryn live in Peakhurst Heights with their three children, Verity, Imogen and Morgan where they enjoy travelling, cooking, wine appreciation, are keen sports followers and Catherine particularly has an interest and passion for interior design.
Catherine is an integral part of the success of Di Jones Real Estate and a highly regarded and valued member of the management team.
