It Is That Time Of Year Again!!

Huge crowds streamed into Sydney’s CBD last night as part of the annual Vivid Sydney light festival. This free event runs until June 9 and bathes the city in colourful lights from 50 installations and projections across six sites around the harbour foreshore, from Darling Harbour to Walsh Bay, North Sydney, The Rocks and Circular Quay, as well as lighting up Martin Place, Taronga Zoo and Chatswood.

Vivid Lights is a huge hit. Last year around 1.7 million attended the lighting show and organisers are expecting to see the same sort of numbers this year visit the city when it lights up between 6pm and midnight every evening. The Destinations NSW event is so popular the public transport network has struggled to cope over the years.
