Spring fling – our favourite Sydney dining spots

Our Eastern Suburbs team share their buyers and vendors love affair with Sydney, especially now that Spring has sprung and a late lunch lasts even longer thanks to daylight savings.

From arguably the best views in the world to their favourite pubs, we asked a few of our team for their favourite destinations to soak up some sun after open homes on a Saturday afternoon.

Jane Schumann – Café Sydney

“There’s nothing like sipping bubbles on the terrace of Café Sydney, while watching the Harbour sparkle. Pair that with any of the seafood dishes on the menu and you’ve got a superb afternoon ahead of you.”

Keith Walker - Royal Hotel, Paddington

“I love grabbing a spot on the balcony at the Royal Hotel in Paddington. Such a relaxing vibe and simple, nice pub food.”

Emma-Brown Garrett – Icebergs Bondi

“Nothing says summer in Sydney like an Aperol Spritz on the terrace at Icebergs.”

Chantal Hooper – The Nielsen, Vaucluse

“At The Neilsen at Neilsen Park, my pick is half dozen Sydney Rock oysters with champagne followed by Wagyu Bavette, (cooked 'a point') and a glass of Pinot Noir.”

Kim Jones – Sean’s Panorama, Bondi Beach

“My vote is an outside spot at Sean’s Panorama. Best food, cool people and a beautiful view. Throw in some sunshine and it is perfection.”
