DiJones sales agent and partner Nigel Mukhi rises to 27 in Australia’s Top 100 real estate agents

DiJones sales agent and partner Nigel Mukhi has been highlighted at number 27 in the top sales agents across Australia, moving up 67 places, according to a real estate industry ranking.

“Nigel has made an extraordinary move in the REB Top 100 Agents ranking,” DiJones Head of Sales Brent May said. “With 18 years experience in real estate, he provides an excellent customer experience across Sydney Harbour foreshore area, especially Kirribilli and Milsons Point.

“In particular Nigel was able to quickly adapt to the changing market place created by COVID and sold 61 properties with an average of 22 days on market and an average sale price of in excess of $2.9 million.”

According to REB agents are ranked using the number and total dollar volume of properties sold as well as the average sale value across a 12-month period.

Mr Mukhi said COVID had created an environment where sales agents had to work harder which has seen him rise through the ranks.

“I think it is one of the positives that has come out of COVID is that because we couldn’t do open homes or auctions we have been working one on one with buyers and sellers which has resulted in lots of bigger sales,” Mr Mukhi said.

“The high end apartment market which I primarily work in hasn’t been a good performer for the previous few years, but COVID has changed the landscape.

“People who are unable to travel have been a clear driver of the market. They are buying to create a lifestyle, with many purchasing a Sydney apartment as a bulk hold and another property in a regional area.”

Mr Mukhi also credited his success to his team at DiJones and the support network the agency offers.

“I have put a new young team in place in the last 12 months which provides fresh energy which helps keep up momentum.”

Some strong off market sales for Nigel in the last 12 months include 2103/55 Lavender Street, Milsons Point, the property next door to Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban as well as 301/10 Cliff Street, Milsons Point for $.7.5 million.
