For horse racing lovers, Randwick is a favourite destination - home to the Royal Randwick Racecourse. The suburb of Randwick is also home to Botany Bay National Park and the Centennial Parklands, which include three of Sydney's largest parks - Centennial Park, Moore Park and Queens Park. Here, walking trails offer an abundance of nature to enjoy in the city.
For those who love the beach, a short hike will transport you back in time. This 2.7km trail to the Macquarie Lighthouse is a great stroll for anyone interested in Australian history.
