Where entry is allowed online, there is no additional cost to enter the Promotion other than any cost paid by the entrant to access the website or social media platform of entry via their Internet service provider.

How to Enter:

To enter the Promotion, the entrant must complete all the following steps during the Promotional Period of 7 January 2023 and 28 February 2023.

  • Be an owner of the property being appraised in a location listed under “Eligible Entrants”
  • Book an appraisal online via the ads on the platforms advertised above and by doing so provide full name, contact number, valid email address and postcode
  • Have a complimentary, physical or virtual appraisal of the property they own conducted by a DiJones Property Manager.

A ‘Rental Appraisal’ is the valuation or an approximation of rental value by impartial, properly qualified persons. A ‘Property owner’ is the person(s) that own the house or land that is appraised by a DiJones Property Manager

Entries Permitted:

An entry will be given to participants upon meeting the following criteria:

  • Limit one (1) entry permitted following a free rental appraisal with a DiJones Property Manager for a property the entrant owns, 1 entry given per rental appraisal.
  • If multiple rental appraisals are conducted on the one property, only the first rental appraisal will receive an entry.
  • Each entry must be submitted in accordance with the entry requirements.
  • Property rental appraisals must be conducted in person or virtually between 3PM on 7 January 2023 and 3PM on 28 February 2023.

Prize Description

1 prize winner will be drawn and will win zero tenant vacancy for 36 months

Details of the Prize

DiJones will provide zero tenant vacancy for 36 months under the following conditions;

  • The zero-vacancy period starts from the first lease start date, once initial tenant has been found
  • Any rental increase during the period must be offered in line with the market valuation that has been supplied by DiJones
  • Should the tenancy end within 36 months, the property must be brought to market within the current market valuation range supplied by DiJones
  • All repairs and maintenance required under the Act to be completed must be authorised within the required timeframe e.g., 24 hours for emergency works, and 7 days for normal maintenance items.
  • The tenant is liable for all and every rental payment as per their lease agreement
  • The payment is up to the value of $7500 AUD only.

Total Prize Pool

• Up to the value of $7500 AUD.

Eligible winners

36 months zero tenant vacancy prize is offered to landlords who sign a new, minimum 2-year rental management agreement contract with DiJones between 7 January 2023 and 28 February 2023.

Prize Draw Details

The prizes will be drawn via randomized computer-generated selection at 5/15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay, NSW 2089 on Wednesday 8 March 2023.

Winner Notification:

The winners of both prizes will be notified by via phone (all entrants will have phone number recorded regardless of how they register for an appraisal) on the same day as the draw.

The winners’ details will be published at dijones.com.au/library within 4 days of the draw.

Unclaimed Prizes:

All prizes must be claimed within one week of the final draw, by 15 March 2023 at 9:59am AEDT. In the event of an unclaimed prize, the prize will be redrawn at 5/15 Grosvenor Street, Neutral Bay, NSW 2089 on 15 March at 2:30 pm AEDT. The winners will be notified publicly, and their details published on dijones.com.au/library within 4 days of the redraw. Only one redraw will occur and if any prize if not claimed by 22 March 2023 they will be voided, and no more claims can be made. DiJones will waive the rental management fees for 24 months under the following conditions;

  • The nil management fee period starts from the first lease start date once the initial tenant has been found.
  • Following the 24-month nil management fee period, the management fee will be reviewed by DiJones Property Management and be charged at the standard market rate.
  • The payment is up to the value of $5000 AUD only.

The terms and conditions which apply to the prize at the time it is issued to the winner will prevail over these Conditions of Entry, to the extent of any inconsistency. Participating entrants agree to these Rules and the decisions of the Promoter, and release, defend and hold harmless the Promoter and its affiliated companies, and all other businesses involved in this Giveaway, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from all claims and liability relating to their participation, acceptance and use or misuse of the prize. Disputes

If there is any dispute the Promoter’s decision will be final and binding. If there is a dispute the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of recipient The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry. If there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding on each entrant and no correspondence will be entered into. If there is any dispute to whom an entry for a property appraisal or for a property listing is awarded or any other matter, the Promoter’s decision will be final and binding. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant or winner. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry. If there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding on each entrant and no correspondence will be entered into. This Giveaway shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of NSW, Australia. By participating, entrants agree that all disputes arising out of or relating in any way to this Giveaway shall be litigated only in courts sitting in Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Privacy

Entrants' personal information will be collected by the Promoter. Personal information will be stored on the Promoter's database. The Promoter may use this information for future marketing purposes regarding its products, including contacting the entrant electronically and this competition is governed by their privacy policy located here https://www.dijones.com.au/privacy For the purposes of public statements and advertisements, the Promoter may only publish the winner's surname, initial and State/Territory or postcode of residence.

General

The entrant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Conditions of Entry and that entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule). The Promotion commences on the Start Date and ends on the End Date ("Promotional Period"). Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission by the entrant. Records of the Promoter and its agencies are final and conclusive as to the time of Valid and eligible entries will be accepted during the Promotional Period All appraisals are to be conducted in a physical or virtual manner. Some may be required to be completed virtually due to COVID -19 within the Promotion Period. DiJones Real Estate reserves the right to request for further proof of ownership of the property prior to conducting the appraisal. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. By submitting an entry form, you will be taken to accept the terms and conditions of this competition. All entrants indemnity and release DiJones Real Estate from any liability, cost, claim, damage, loss or expense arising out of, or in connection with, entry into this competition. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner for the prize may be required to sign a legal release as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, prior to receiving the prize.
