DiJones take centre stage at AREC with ‘we came to hire’ recruitment campaign

May 26, 2025

Future focused real estate brand DiJones has captured the attention of AREC attendees with an integrated campaign aimed at recruiting agents and business owners all while raising the brands profile.

“Rather than recruit new agents through cold calls and ads on job boards, the DiJones approach was to be the most memorable part of the conference, not by taking centre stage, but by making our own stage in the everyday rituals of AREC,” DiJones Chief Operating Officer Brent May said. “With more than 5,000 people coming together for the event, it was a great opportunity to speak to the audience about our desire to hire as we embark on our next phase of growth.

“Our message highlighted that CEO Dean Mackie, myself and Jamie Trad, Head of Licensing were at AREC with the focus of starting a conversation with real estate professionals looking to take their craft to next level and who are curious about what the future holds, whether that’s now or in the months ahead,” Mr May said.

DiJones shared its recruitment message across Coolangatta airport directing people to contact them for confidential meetings right across the conference duration, highlighting DiJones was ready to meet and collaboratively explore all growth opportunities.

“Our presence and message were clearly delivered with a digital truck on the doorstep of the Gold Coast Convention Centre, bikes on the ground riding not just around the convention centre but the adjacent entertainment precinct, and geo-targeting of social accounts, all displaying contextually relevant messages.

“It was really about a genuine opportunity to connect and learn more about the DiJones offering and get a better understanding of what makes DiJones different, with the aim of increasing brand awareness and recruiting new talent,” Mr May said.

DiJones said their recruitment efforts continue beyond the AREC conference, remaining open to discussions with prospective agents.
